"The best thing about Eric's music is that it inspires dancers of all ages and ability levels. I can play the same piece of music for my 2 - 3 year toddler classes and then again for my advanced teen classes."

Music For Creative Dance: Contrast and Continuum, Volume III
This CD features some pieces that contrast tempos, textures, volume or other elements within one piece, while other pieces create a continuous flow of music.
Rock 'N Stop is a favorite piece among creative dancers for it's energetic rhythm and unexpected pauses. The Bayou Both-Step alternates between a waltz and a two-step with a Cajun flair. The serene Breathe follows the ebullient Fiesta! Listening to Tempo Tantrum will tell the dancer how fast or slow to move - until the next pause. Celtic Suite in three sections of contrasting meter and tempo is followed by each of the sections expanded to full length pieces - Skip the Jig, Planxty Irwin and Spootiskerry. The last track on every MCD CD is a version of Potpourri - musical fragments from the earlier pieces with pauses between them. All 20 tracks are great for exploring dance - creatively!
