"This is vibrant music, both expressive and very useful because of it's clear objectives. It's got me all excited about lesson planning again!"

Music For Creative Dance: Contrast and Continuum, Volume I
This CD features some pieces that contrast tempos, textures, volume or other elements within one piece, while other tracks create a continuous flow of music.
Volume One begins with the quintessential "contrast" piece. All In One provides the music for contrasting sharp and smooth energy, free and bound flow, single and multi focus, self and general space and many other dance concepts. Other highlights include The Add-On Machine - perfect for shape chains or exploring adding on body parts to a dance. Five year olds learn to skip with Skippy. Older students enjoy the musical diversity of Western East, A Tale of Two Villages and Oasis. The last track on every MCD CD is a version of Potpourri - musical fragments from the earlier pieces with pauses between them. All 16 tracks are great for exploring dance - creatively!
